The belt is not very long, 10 cm more would have been enough to make a product suitable for most people... then when you go to open it the teeth of the closure get stuck on the belt itself and you have a lot of difficulty in opening it if you don't make a movement that tightens again (so as to be able to free the teeth and allow the opening)..
