I decided to order this product because it is great for outdoor activities. But I have found that it often saves my computer when the power goes out at home. Last night the power went out again and I plugged my laptop into this portable battery station and it ran until power was restored to my computer. Another reason I chose this is because it's lightweight and doesn't take up much space in your home. If you go camping, you can bring a solar panel with you to power your devices without worrying about running out of power at night. Another unexpected benefit is that it has a very flexible power interface that supports USB, DC output, AC output and cigarette lighter output. I bought it for camping and tested it last night with a CPAP machine. The unit lasted all night. Compact design, everything works. Shipped quickly and well packaged (original cardboard box is sturdy).
