Very useful. The skirts can be removed, they are fastened with snaps, and it looks like a normal cap. If the rain gets worse, with the skirts you are perfectly protected in the shoulders and neck. There's still another piece that I haven't figured out what it's for, but I'll find out. It comes with a removable rubber band to hold it if there is wind. I carry it in my bag, it weighs nothing 👍.
