-What are barley sprouts?
Barley sprouts refer to the 10-15cm young leaves that grow for 6-8 days after barley is sown. They are a representative sprout vegetable rich in essential amino acids, protein, minerals, iron, beta-carotene, potassium, and poly-cosanol.
-After sowing, barley sprouts are harvested when they are most nutritious. These young barley sprouts are processed, as barley grows in low temperatures, where bacteria cannot survive and pests cannot breed before harvesting. Therefore, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers were used. Only high-quality, domestic young barley sprouts are used, not imported raw materials.
-Hae Nam, Jeollanam-do, a village at the end of the land, only harvests young barley sprouts that have grown with strong vitality, barely surviving the harsh sea wind (Haepung). They are grown in the fertile yellow soil of Hae Nam, not hydroponically, and are healthy because no pesticides are used during cultivation.
-'Low-temperature drying, a healthy method'
