The motor can be powered through a third-party device. Do not use additional devices to power the DJI Focus Pro motor when power is already being supplied (e.g. from the DJI Focus Pro grip), as the device may be damaged.
DJI RS 4 Pro can use up to two motors at the same time, but DJI RS 4 only supports one motor.
