The Bf 109 (Bf 109) was the main fighter of the Nazi Luftwaffe in World War II. It is said to have been developed for the world's first hit-and-run strategy, and has distinctive designs such as a thin main wing that is small compared to the weight of the aircraft, a motor cannon, and an engine mount on the main landing gear. Development began in 1934 at Bavarian Aircraft Manufacturing (Die Bayerische Flugzeugwerke, BFW), and production began the following year in 1935. The chief designer was engineer Robert Lusser, who previously designed the Bf 108. Later Bavarian Aircraft Manufacturing became Messerschmitt. After that, Messerschmitt airplanes began to be labeled as Mexxx. The Bf 109 G (Gustav) is an aircraft equipped with a Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. Many derivatives were developed, and it became the main machine in the later years.
