The COLOR-SKOPAR 18mm F2.8 Aspherical
Equipped with electronic contacts, the combination of a telecommunication-compatible body and the latest firmware enables Exif information, focus check, and shooting distance linked display, as well as in-body image stabilization for certain models.
The angle of view of this lens is equivalent to 28mm, which has been popular as a standard wide-angle lens since the days of 35mm film cameras, making it suitable for snapshots. The use of double-sided aspherical lenses and anomalous partial dispersion glass ensures excellent optical performance while achieving a pancake-style design that keeps the overall size of the product compact. It has a short overall length of 23.5mm from the mount, making it highly portable, and there are few parts that protrude from the camera body, making it easy to take it out of a bag and store it.
The shortest shooting distance is 0.17m. The focus ring on the lens control section is equipped with a lever that is shaped to fit easily with your fingers, improving operability and allowing you to determine the approximate distance set by the lever position without having to look at the distance indicator.
The aperture blades are made up of 10 blades that take into consideration the shape of the bokeh, and have 1/3 step clicks. The aperture mechanism uses a mechanism in which the aperture ring is directly connected to the opening and closing of the aperture blades, similar to Voigtlander's VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses. You can enjoy the comfortable feeling of manual focusing as all lens groups are moved out within the all-metal lens barrel, as well as the sensation of directly operating the mechanism when opening and closing the aperture. A special dome-shaped screw-in hood (black finish) is included.
