They look great. The issue is that I am a standard size 45 and they do not fit. Why do the not fit is the question. I took out the insole and measured the length. They are virtually the same size as an existing shoe that I own. The issue is the depth of the shoe at the toe area. Not deep enough. Was going to return them but I have to return them within 1 month of delivery. The economy delivery costs £8 for a 5 week delivery. The quick delivery costs £14. Not cost effective to return. Should the manufacturer have made the depth deeper. I think so but they will say not.

I ordered a number more than usual because I was going to try them for running and I did well: the length in fact allows the foot to slide forward enough while running. The shoe has a wide plant, probably if I used it not for running the usual size would have been enough but not knowing the difference between one number and the next I preferred not to take risks. To run I had a great time with a slightly thick terry sock. to
